İstiklâl History Magazine aims to shed light on the past and make history accessible to everyone. Our mission is to foster a love of history and to help our readers better understand historical events by providing them with rich, reliable, and engaging content.

Some of our writers are senior students in the History Department at Sakarya University, while others are volunteer researchers. Articles are published after being reviewed by experts in the field, if available.

As İstiklâl History, we aim to appeal to all segments of society and encourage people to think objectively about history.

We value making assessments from different perspectives and generating new ideas, without adhering to a single perspective.

We're publishing our first issue at the end of summer, and we'll be back with a new issue every three months from now on. Our website consists of two main sections:

📖 The first part of our magazine.
Historical topics of interest are discussed here. If articles fall within our professors' areas of expertise, they are first reviewed and then published.

🖊️ The second part is the writing corner.
We plan to add new areas to this section in the future, such as book reviews. In our columns, we conduct short research on specific categories. While these pieces aren't as rigorously reviewed as academic articles, they aim to provide readers with new information and serve as an introduction.

We typically write articles that can be read in 10 minutes. At the end, we add footnotes, a bibliography, and visuals to make the topic more understandable and enjoyable.

All our friends with a passion for and interest in history can send us their articles via email or share them directly on the article upload page. After the articles undergo the necessary checks, we will definitely provide feedback, whether positive or negative. Articles deemed suitable will be published with the author's name.

We continue our work entirely on a voluntary basis, without receiving any sponsorship or official support. Therefore, your support is invaluable to us. Becoming a member is completely free. Once registered, you'll receive notifications about new issues and articles, ensuring you stay up-to-date on the latest content.
